Scaling and Root Planing
Scaling and root planing is a careful cleaning of the root surfaces that allows Dr. Cherrington and his staff the ability to remove plaque from deep pockets and to smooth the root of a tooth to remove any lingering bacteria. Following scaling and root planing, most patients will not require any further treatment. However, patients will still need to receive continued care and oral cleanings to maintain their oral health.
Dental Fillings
Dental Fillings are used to repair broken or cracked teeth and teeth that have become worn down with age. We offer both amalgam and composite fillings, and use Surefil SDR and Kerr’s Sonicfill technology to provide the best composite fillings possible.
